F53 Manavai  (click on photo for alternate view)            

Manavai. This is a manavai with approximately two-thirds of its sides intact. The east side of the manavai is a natural slope with some red-orange weathered rocks in the slope. The manavai is 4m by 6m. Only one poro is visible, and it is broken in half.  The highest part of the wall is 1.9m from the soil floor on the northeastern side. There is another manavai with taro growing in it approximately 50m to the northeast.
