F36 Pavement
Pavement.  This feature is comprised of scattered poro that are partly buried and appear to be the remains of a pavement once associated with a hare paenga. The slope here is quite steep, but above the stones is a level area about 15m by 5m. Below the poro is a line of stones framing a terrace about 30 cm high. This terrace has collected colluvial fill and small rocks from above. No paenga stones are visible and the ground is covered by rocky rubble. Some poro stones have been displaced down slope below the terrace. No other artifacts are noted. This site is within 50m of the two caves to the southwest.
