Hare paenga. This feature is a hare paenga with a red scoria stone at the southern end, which is a roughly rectangular slab (130cm NS x 100cm EW) with an oval depression (~60cm NS x 40cm EW), The hare paenga is comprised of 13 paenga arranged in a circular form. The stone in the northwest corner is a broken moai fragment (Rano Raraku stone) (A).  The interior is paved with water worn basalt cobbles (poro). This feature is located north of a manavai (4.2m, F1C).   The feature’s maximum length is 4.15m, and its maximum width (east-west) measures1.90m. Associated features include a collapsed manavai (F1C), and an umu (earth oven, F1B) 1.3 m northwest of the hare paenga, also comprised of paenga. The entire structure is oriented lengthwise 40 degrees E.
