Graduate Assistant (GA)

Applications are being accepted for academic year 2012-13. Applicants must be willing to assist with any of the courses offered in the anthropology program, including Emerging Humanity (151), Culture and Humanity (152) and/or Physical Anthropology (215/215L).

Minimum Qualifications: advanced (at least 2nd year) graduate standing in Anthropology; academic excellence; evidence of timely progress in the program; strong faculty recommendations.

Desirable Qualifications: specialization in physical/biological anthropology, training in the four subfields, strong verbal communication skills; undergraduate-level teaching experience; likely to continue in Ph.D. program.

Monthly Salary (half time): $1,246.50 MA level; $1,348.00 PhD level
