Department of Anthropology
Undergraduate Student Travel Award
The Department of Anthropology will make travel awards available to undergraduate students presenting a paper at a recognized national or international meeting. Each semester up to three awards in the amount of $1000 each will be given on a competitive basis. Funding decisions will be based on quality of the proposal, faculty letter of support, and significance of the conference and paper for the student's progress in her or his degree program. Initial decisions will be contingent on submission of the complete paper by the time of reimbursement.
